ELKHORN CITY, Ky. –  A Pike County Police Department who had no officers just a few years ago is now establishing itself as a respected agency.  Elkhorn City Police Chief Bobby Sexton says there have been countless hours spent writing grants and asking for community support, but it has all been worth the effort.  Elkhorn City now has three certified deputies and several trained volunteers.
