The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department is now distributing face masks to those in need during this COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a Facebook post by the department, Floyd County Sheriff John Hunt has been able to secure a number of these masks and wants to make them available to Floyd Countians who are in need.
These masks meet the recommendations of our state and federal guidelines and are being distributed to help protect against the spread of COVID-19, especially among those who are most vulnerable, the post says.
If you are interested in getting a face mask, contact the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department staff at 606-886-8965 to make arrangements for pick up.
The post also mentions that arrangements can be made for a Deputy to deliver these masks if you aren’t able to pick them up in person.
