
Floyd County Deputies responded to a fight complaint involving a firearm last week in the Harold community.
According to Floyd County Sheriff John Hunt, after arriving at the residence, deputies learned during their investigation that one of the individuals involved, 49-year-old Craig Triplett of Harold, had active outstanding warrants.
After detaining Mr. Triplett, deputies then found Mr. Triplett in possession of over 400 prescription pills including Xanax, Oxycodone, and several others along with a handgun and a substantial amount of cash money. Deputies were assisted in the arrest by their K9 “Drago”.
Triplett was lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center where he was charged with :
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd
- Convicted Felon in possession of a Handgun along with other charges from the outstanding warrants
