Four arrested during drug raid

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Four people were arrested after Pikeville Police raided an apartment where drug activity was suspected to be taking place.

Police went to the apartment around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, where they found heroin, meth, marijuana and THC wax.

Police arrested 38-year-old Amanda Adkins, 54-year-old William Reid Sr. and 31-year-old William Reid Jr. on drug trafficking charges. Once at the jail, William Reid Sr. was also charged with promoting contraband, after jail staff allegedly found meth in his sock.

30-year-old Cory Branham was also arrested at the scene on drug possession charges.

All four remain in the Pike County Detention Center.
