Lawrence County, KY — A fugitive from justice has been arrested for drug trafficking near a school. According to authorities, 42-year-old Broderick Nathan Cyrus of Louisa, was wanted on a warrant issued by the Kentucky Parole Board for a previous felony trafficking conviction. Cyrus was found in a house near Blaine Elementary School Saturday. Cyrus had approximately 15 grams of meth, digital scales, marijuana, pills and over $800 in cash. Cyrus was taken into custody without incident and is currently lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Cyrus was arrested by Lawrence County Constables Dan Castle and Paul Wells along with Lawrence County Deputy Sheriff Cory Cook who are part of the D.I.C.E. (Drug Intervention Cooperative Enforcement) team.
