Business has boomed at the Pike County Detention Center garden, leaving the jail with more food than they know what to do with. Because of the surplus, Pike County Jailer Brian Morris decided to give the food to some groups that need it. Morris says his staff has big plans for introducing a new crop that should be a big hit this fall.
