CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Mingo County woman accused of child sex trafficking is now expected to enter a guilty plea next week.

Misty Dawn Baisden, 30, of Delbarton, and David Wayne Young, 47, of Ashland, are charged with sexual exploitation of children, coercion of a female, child sex trafficking, and activities constituting child pornography.
The incidents are alleged to have happened March 19 and 20 at Delbarton and involved one child under the age of 18 and another under the age of 14.
Baisden has been mounting a defense against the allegations, saying she only entertained a “fantasy” with Young, but never acted on that fantasy, even if he did. She also sought to have her trial separated from Young’s.
All that appears to have changed now, with the government requesting a hearing for Baisden to enter a guilty plea. A judge has set that hearing for October 19th.
