Hall, who has served as Pike County Coroner since his election, says his decision to run again comes from his deep love for the community and his desire to continue improving the services families rely on during their most difficult moments.

“Pike County deserves a coroner who treats every family with dignity and respect,” Hall said. “I am proud of the progress we’ve made, and I want to continue the work we’ve started.”

During his term, Hall has implemented significant improvements, including strengthening communication with families, establishing an open-door policy, and expanding training for deputies. Under his leadership, the office now has more trained deputies, enhanced equipment for faster response times, and stronger working relationships with volunteer fire departments, ambulance crews, and local law enforcement.

Hall also emphasized the importance of future needs: “We’ve accomplished a lot in a short time, but there is still work to do—more training, more equipment, and even better communication. Pike County is facing new challenges, from rising overdose fatalities to the increase in homeless deaths. These issues require experience, leadership, and a compassionate approach.”

With over 30 years of experience as a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Kentucky, and more than two decades as owner of Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Hall brings unmatched experience in the death-care

industry. He previously served four years as Deputy Coroner before being elected Coroner.

Hall credits the success of the office to strong teamwork with first responders: “Our volunteer fire departments, ambulance crews, and law enforcement agencies are incredible. We work together every day to make sure every case is handled properly and every family receives the answers they need.”

As he seeks re-election, Hall says his focus remains on service, compassion, and continued improvement.

“The coroner’s office is one of the most important public-service roles in the county. You need someone who leads with heart, experience, and integrity. I am grateful for the trust the people of Pike County placed in me, and I would be honored to continue serving the families of our community.
