The Floyd Central Lady Jaguars held onto the No. 1 spot in the latest girls’ Super 7 basketball poll released on Tuesday.
The Lady Jags, now 9-0 after close wins over Betsy Layne and Lawrence County in overtime, was just ahead of Johnson Central (7-1). The Lady Eagles are followed by Pikeville (7-4) ay No. 3. Shelby Valley (5-3) is fourth. Lawrence County (7-3) is fifth.
Rounding out the poll are Martin County (7-2) at No. 6 while Belfry (7-4) is seventh.
