HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Phelps closes regular season with road win at Tolsia

Phelps kept Tolsia off the scoreboard the entire second half and the Hornets went on to earn a 28-14 road win on Friday night.

Quarterback Cainan Land ran for a pair of touchdowns and Hayden Mounts rushed for two scores as Phelps snapped a five-game losing streak.

Running back Bryson Locklear rushed for 122 yards on 19 attempts. Locklear also tossed a pair of passes to Land for 60 yards as both shared quarterback duties.
