Prestonsburg goalkeeper Jacob Martin was sold in recording his fifth shutout this season as the Blackcats beat Lawrence County, 8-0, in a match played at StoneCrest Soccer Complex on Tuesday night.

Matt Burchett led the way with two goals and three assists as Prestonsburg improved to 10-1. Grant Justice and Preston Crase followed with two goals each.

Dylan Moore added one goal and two assists while Bryan Amador had one goal.

Lawrence County held off Russell late in the match to escape with a 3-2 victory on Tuesday night.

Emersyn Elliott scored two goals while Ellie Webb added one and assisted on both of Elliott’s goals. Jasmine Justice had one assist.

Goalkeeper Alyssa Moore had 18 saves in the win as the Lady Bulldogs moved to 7-2-1.
