Pikeville, KY — An illegally parked car leads to charges against a Pikeville woman. According to authorities, Pikeville Police responded to a complaint at Myers Towers Wednesday afternoon, of a vehicle blocking in another vehicle. Officers arrived to find 21-year-old Jessica King of Pikeville unconscious in the driver’s seat. Once King awoke, officers asked King to get out of the vehicle and she refused to comply. When officers removed King from the vehicle, a large bag with smaller bags inside it with a crystal-like substance that appeared to be meth was seen. Officers also found a small black case with several syringes in it. King was taken to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment of Public Intoxication via a controlled substance and then after she was medically cleared, she was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance (Meth), Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest and was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
