In recent weeks, a joint effort between the Pike County Fiscal Court and the US Army Corps of Engineers at Fishtrap Lake has the lake looking better than it has in years.  And, officials with the Corps of Engineers say they are anticipating more recreational boaters this summer, thanks to those efforts.  Fishtrap Lake Resource Manager Rodney Holbrook encourages anyone planning on hitting the water this summer to make sure their boats are equipped with all required safety devices.
