Two people are dead following a motorcycle wreck in Pike County.

The single-vehicle crash occurred along Ky. 632 at Upper Johns Creek at Kimper earlier this afternoon. Kentucky State Police told EKB News at the scene that the riders on the motorcycle involved in the crash died at the scene after their motorcycle left the roadway and crashed into a creek.

The trooper investigating the crash said it does not appear any other vehicles were involved.

The identities of those killed in the crash have not yet been released, but KSP told EKB News the victims were a male and a female.

The crash remains under investigation.
