Intoxicated People Arrested In Business

Martin, KY — Two people have been arrested after Martin City Police received a complaint Friday afternoon around 4:00 pm of intoxicated people in a store. According to a press release, Martin City Police Chief Kenny Stidham responded to the Family Dollar store in Martin and upon his arrival found a man and woman intoxicated in the store. Police arrested 62-year-old Betty J. Watts of Pippa Passes and 55-year-old William T. Crothers of Hagerhill and charged them both with Alcohol Intoxication in a public place. Both were lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
