A Johnson Central football player who was recently hospitalized and placed on a ventilator due to COVID-19 is showing signs of improvement.

Cameron Law, a student at Johnson Central High School, a member of the football team and Future Farmers of America, has been hospitalized at UK Medical Center earlier this month.

Law had spent almost a week on the ventilator before slowly being taken off, according to officials.

“He is off the vent at UK Hospital, and is doing incredibly well,” a Facebook post by the FFA group said.

Mountain Top Sports hopes to have more details on Law and Head Football Coach Jim Matney in a more detailed story on Thursday.
