Since Hillbilly Days 2020 won’t be taking place in April, Mountain Top TV and WDHR 93.1 wants to ensure that everyone can still enjoy the sights and sounds of the largest event in our Eastern Kentucky region.
Come join our “Virtual Hillbilly Days” presented by the City of Pikeville on Saturday, April 18th from 10 AM – 5 PM.
You can enjoy all the great aspects of Hillbilly Days from the safety of your home including Bluegrass music performances, the Hillbilly Cam, parades from past events, and even the chance to donate to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
“In addition to serving our communities with news, we‘re taking the opportunity to entertain and provide a small sense of “normalcy” while also helping the Shriners,” states Cindy May Johnson, President/General Manager of Mountain Top Media. Hillbilly Days is one of our most loved events, and it’s for such a good cause. We decided to dedicate a day of our resources to restore at least a little bit of its joy. Big thank you to the City of Pikeville for signing on to be the presenting sponsor! By the way, all staff working on this are donating their time. Mountain Top Media is donating a portion of our proceeds to the Shriners. This is about giving back. It’s what we do!”
Virtual Hillbilly Days 2020 will broadcast live on WDHR 93.1 or you can watch online at Mountain Top TV or by visiting www.mountain-topmedia.com.
