PRESTONSBURG, Ky. – The 2022 Season for Billie Jean Osborne’s Kentucky Opry Christmas kicks off with its opening performance on Saturday, Dec. 10, in the Willard and Lucy Kinzer Theater of the Mountain Arts Center, the Prestonsburg venue that has been home to the Opry since the facility opened in 1996.
The cast and crew have been busy working on themes, songs, and medleys for this year’s holiday show. The MAC’s premier in-house production will get to showcase the upgraded set design, lighting, and sound that the MAC has to offer. Fans will continue to see many favorites on the stage, but with new songs and pieces that have never been performed by BJO’s Kentucky Opry.
Emcee Samantha Johnson is eagerly awaiting what she says will be a special season.
“I just have to say, if anyone misses this show, they will be missing out on a wonderful evening for the whole family,” Johnson remarks. “It will quickly put you in the spirit and allow you to relax for a couple hours.”
Opening night for the Billie Jean Osborne’s Christmas Show will be Saturday Dec. 10. Additional shows include December 11, 16, 17 and 18.
Tickets start at $18. Call for information on group rates. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.macarts.com, by phone at 1 (888) MAC ARTS, or the MAC Box Office.
