This morning, the first formal candidate for Pike County Jailer officially filed for office. Jamey Kidd, who has served as a law enforcement officer in and around Pike County for the past 20 years, says he sees the position of Pike County Jailer as another way to serve the people. While three other people have filed letters of intent to run for Pike County Jailer, the Pike County Clerk’s office confirmed to EKB News that Kidd is the first to officially file for the office.
