
Kentucky River District Health Department officials announced the 2nd positive case of COVID-19 in Knott County.
According to a press release, the health department says the patient is a 41-year-old male who is a resident of Knott County and is an employee of the Hazard/Perry County Walmart Store.
If you have visited this specific store between March 14 – April 9, you may have been exposed to the virus.
Health officials are urging the public to monitor your symptoms and if you develop a cough, fever and/or shortness of breath, call your local primary care provider.
