PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Letcher County man charged in at least six state and federal criminal cases has now asked that he be allowed to plead guilty in the federal case.
Roger Lee Miles, 51, of Thornton, is charged with possessing more than 50 grams of meth with the intention of distributing it. On Friday, he submitted a request that he be re-arraigned in the case.
Also on Friday, a judge granted that request, but has not yet set a date.
Miles is also charged in five cases before Letcher Circuit Court, involving a wide variety of charges, including drug trafficking, witness tampering and engaging in organized crime. Those cases remain pending.
