PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Letcher County man has entered a guilty plea in a federal drug trafficking case.
Larry Wayne Bentley, 43, of McRoberts, pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to distribute meth and possession of a gun during a drug trafficking crime.

Bentley admitted to buying pounds of meth from a Louisville supplier, then selling it in Letcher County.
When police raided his home, they seized three pounds of meth, along with more than $14,000 in cash and three guns. He later admitted that the $10,000 he used to post bond was also drug money.
Bentley now faces a minimum of 10 years in prison.
A second man charged in the case — 43-year-old Bryan Wayne Branham, of McRoberts — is scheduled to go on trial in January.
