Little finally sentenced in 9-year-old case

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man who spent over eight years on the run will now spend 10 years behind bars.

Leroy “Dock” Little

Leroy “Dock” Little, 67, was supposed to attend a guilty plea hearing in a cocaine trafficking case back in September of 2009. He failed to show and eluded authorities until this past December, when he was arrested in southern Indiana.

Once he was caught, Little finally entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Yesterday, he was sentenced to 120 months in prison for the offense.

Two others charged in the case have already been convicted and sentenced. Little’s son, Darren Little, is serving 150 months in prison for conspiracy. He is scheduled to be released in 2020. Tracy Wooten was sentenced to 90 months for conspiracy and distribution. He was released in 2014.

The three were convicted in a scheme that distributed more than 5 kilograms of cocaine between 2000 and 2008.
