PIKEVILLE, Ky. – On the morning of Thursday, December 15th, a local psychiatrist’s HOME WAS raided by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Dr. Jason Stamper was at his office on Hambley Boulevard next to the Pikeville Velocity Market at the time of the search.
At least 2 DEA agents were deployed to his office to make the arrest. Pike County Sheriff’s Office was also on the scene, although declined to comment on the matter.
While searching Stampers home multiple bags of heroin, meth, and drug paraphernalia were found.
Stamper was arrested without incident and is currently being held at Pike County Detention Center. He is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
