CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Logan County man is heading to prison for nearly four years, after pleading guilty to a federal weapons charge back in March.
Eddie Lee Conley Jr., 45, pleaded guilty to felon in possession of a firearm, after he was found with a .38 caliber handgun when he was arrested at a Chapmanville motel 14 months ago. He had previously been convicted of a felony drug charge in Logan County.
He was sentenced Thursday to 46 months in prison. He had faced a potential sentence up for to 10 years in prison.
