Man allegedly steals from mother Christmas Day

fleeFLOYD COUNTY, KY.–It happened when Troopers responded to a call that a man had stolen money from a North Locust Road residence in the Hi Hat community.

“Upon arrival they determined that Terrence Mullins had in fact stolen money, possibly from his mother. He eluded them and jumped in the river and got away. He returned back to the residence and Troopers were called back to the scene where he jumped in the river for a second time. The Troopers in the area had some help with them at the time and they caught him and brought him under arrest.”

39-year old Terrence Mullins of Hi Hat was charged with public intoxication, 2nd degree fleeing and evading, 3rd degree criminal trespassing and criminal mischief, 1st degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He has since been released on bond.
