A man arrested earlier this month in connection with a meth trafficking case at a home in the Cedar Creek area of Pikeville was arrested again early Thursday morning. According to the arrest citation, Pikeville police officers arrested 30 year old Charles Doneghy of Louisville following a traffic stop on US 23 just after midnight. Officers noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and called for the department’s K-9. After a search of the vehicle, officers found two different amounts of marijuana, nearly an ounce of crystal meth, a large amount of cash and a set of working digital scales. Doneghy was arrested and charged with first degree trafficking in meth. He remains lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
