Man Faces Unlawful Imprisonment Charge

Johnson County, KY — A burglary in progress complaint has landed a man in jail. According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Brad Caldwell and Johnson County Constable Ryan Caudill responded to the call Sunday. Upon the officer’s arrival, they found 31-year-old Zackary Cochran of River, Kentucky inside a residence on Middle Fork Road. The owner of the residence state that Cochran gained entry through the back door and grabbed a large kitchen knife and threatened to kill the homeowner. After holding the homeowner at knife point, the homeowner managed to get free and fled to a neighbor’s residence and called authorities. The homeowner was not injured in the incident. Cochran was found to be in possession of two small bags containing a crystal white substance after being searched. Cochran was arrested at the scene and is charged with Burglary, Unlawful imprisonment, and Possession of controlled substance, Meth.
