MARTIN COUNTY, KY.– In December EKB News brought you the story of a Martin County man who was arrested for allegedly taking pictures of a minor. That man is back behind bars after being indicted on those charges.
According to court documents, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint on Little Peter Cave Road after a woman found a topless photo of a 15-year old juvenile on a cell phone belonging to 37-year old Paul Muncy, of Lovely. According to police, Muncy admitted to taking the photo and keeping it for self-gratification. A video that Muncy allegedly took was also found on the phone of a juvenile female in a bath tub.
Paul Muncy has been indicted on one count of promoting a minor in a sexual performance and video voyeurism. Promoting of a minor in a sexual performance is a class B felony which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a 10,000 dollar fine and video voyeurism is a class D felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a 10,000 dollar fine. Muncy remains lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center under a 20,000 dollar cash bond.
