sodomyFLOYD COUNTY, KY.–A Floyd County man already under indictment for 3rd degree rape has been indicted again with similar charges.

In October EKB News brought you the story of 42-year old Clinton Thomas of Prestonsburg, who is accused of having sex with a Floyd County drug court participant between January 1st and August 31st of 2017. Thomas formerly worked with drug court as an employee of Mountain Comprehensive Care.
On January 24th of this year a grand jury handed down a superseding indictment against Thomas adding one count of 3rd degree sodomy regarding the original victim, and an additional count of 3rd degree sodomy alleging Thomas sodomized another drug court participant between May 1st and June 30th of 2017. Each charge is a class D felony punishable by 1-5 years in prison.

In October EKB News spoke with Floyd District Judge, Eric Hall, who said he hopes the public does not let this incident detract from the overall good that drug court does.
