A man from Island Creek was arrested on Christmas Eve at the Hardee’s of Pikeville. According to the arrest citation, Pikeville Police Department was dispatched to Hardee’s on Hambley Boulevard in reference to a disorderly male.
Upon arrival, Pikeville officer Kranzman observed 30 yr old Curtis Parsons behind the counter and in the kitchen area of the establishment. Kranzman states that Parsons was yelling nonsense and banging on the counters while smoking a cigarette and that he had pinpoint pupils and red eyes.
Parsons appeared to be hallucinating as he was yelling “there they are!” and stating that people were after him, trying to shoot him.
As Parsons was booked at the Pike County Detention Center, he admitted to Police that he had eaten a bag of meth, in which he was given medical attention and cleared by medical personnel.
Curtis Parsons was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree disorderly conduct and public intoxication of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
