Johnson County, KY — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Sitka man Monday night on several charges. 27 year old Steven W. Layne was taken into custody for 3 outstanding indictment warrants and one bench warrant. Layne’s charges included promoting contraband, 2 counts of theft by unlawful taking, resisting arrest, public intoxication controlled substance, and being a persistent felony offender among others. Layne was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
