Man on the run from Pike County flees from Police in Floyd County

IVEL, KY.– A Floyd County man wanted in Pike County after allegedly fleeing from police in a stolen vehicle was found in the community of Ivel after police responded to a call from a residence on Mockingbird Street, but not before having to chase that man again.

“Upon the Troopers arrival he had fled the scene and was not in the immediate area of the scene. He was later located in a garage near R&S Body Company and when Troopers arrived there he jumped out the window and over the bank, and later arrested over on the river bank after he fed from the troopers.”

25 year old Tyler Thacker of Ivel was arrested and charged with menacing; fleeing and evading police, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, and is lodged in the Floyd county detention center.
