Man Passes Out In Vehicle, Resists Arrest

Pike County, KY — A trespassing complaint in Pike County lands a Shelbiana man in jail. According to an arrest citation, Kentucky State Police responded to the complaint on Millers Creek Road in Pike County. When a Trooper arrived, they found 49-year-old Billy Slone sitting beside the homeowner’s car. The homeowner told the Trooper that Slone had been inside their vehicle passed out and bleeding from a cut. A physical altercation occurred after the homeowner woke Slone up to get out of the car. As the Trooper began to handcuff Slone, Slone became belligerent, pulled away from the trooper, cursing at the homeowner and spitting at the Trooper. The Trooper administered two bursts of Pepper Spray and Slone stopped spitting. The citation also indicates that the homeowner had asked Slone to leave their property several times. Slone had taken a five-gallon jug of diesel fuel and poured it into his own vehicle’s fuel tank prior to the altercation. The Trooper also said there was evidence that Slone had been rummaging around their residence for some time prior to them discovering that he was there. Slone was taken to the Pike County Detention Center and charged Criminal Trespassing, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly conduct, Resisting Arrest and Menacing.
