Man Threatens To Kill Judge/Police Chief

Perry County, KY — A Perry County man is behind bars after threatening to kill a Perry Circuit Judge and kill the Hazard City Police Chief. Perry County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jason Duff obtained arrest warrants for Jimmy Dunn of Raccoon Creek Road in Hazard, charging him with two counts of Terroristic Threatening 3rd degree. According to authorities, the Perry County 911 center received a call this morning from a man stating he was going to kill the Perry Circuit Judge. Another call was received shortly after from the same man saying he was also going to kill the Hazard City Police Chief. Dunn was spotted in Christopher, Kentucky by Captain Jeff Ritchie of the Perry County Sheriff’s Office. Dunn was arrested and lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
