Man Wanted In Virginia

Dickenson County, VA — Dickenson County Sheriff Deputies are looking for a man wanted after crashing his car and fleeing police. According to authorities, Deputies were responding to a call in the Cutter Creek section of Dickenson County when a vehicle, being driven by Linzie A. Humes, nearly struck one of the deputy’s cruiser. Humes tried to turn at a high rate of speed to elude the deputy but lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a creek. As deputies approached the vehicle, they saw Humes fleeing the scene up a hill. Deputies arrested the passengers in the vehicle, Matthew Adkins and Jessica Kincaid however Humes remains at large at this time. Humes is now facing felony elude, felony possession of narcotics, felony driving DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, multiple traffic violations and obstructing justice charges when he is captured. Jessica Kincaid is charged with felony possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and obstructing justice.
