State troopers and a deputy were called to Riverside Apartments in Warfield over a report of someone shooting. When they arrived, they immediately heard at least three shots coming from inside apartment 42.

They then spoke with the occupant of the apartment, identified as Jonathan Jackson, 33, who reportedly told them he was shooting at someone who was holding a woman hostage. The woman in question walked past the officers a few minutes later, obviously not being held hostage.

The officers spotted five 9 mm casings on the ground outside the front door.

An officer wrote in his report that Jackson appeared to be impaired and hallucinating at times.

He was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment and disorderly conduct.
