Police in Letcher County executed a massive methamphetamine bust in Letcher County this week.

The Letcher County Sheriff’s Office tells EKB News that four pounds of crystal meth, along with 10 grams of heroin and $5,000 in cash, were seized Monday in the county. The bust came after a search warrant was served against a suspected meth dealer.

The Mountain Eagle in Whitesburg is reporting that Danny Robert “Danny Bob” Collins of Bottom Fork was arrested for possessing the drugs. Collins’ daughter, Samantha Collins, was also arrested for being a fugitive from another state.

The newspaper also reported that the Pike County Sheriff’s Department and the department’s K-9 unit, Copper, assisted in serving the warrant.
