SALYERSVILLE, Ky.– Beginning today, Tuesday, Sept. 3, traffic travelling Eastbound on Restaurant Row in Salyersville will shift over to the newly constructed outside lane of the Parkway; traffic travelling westbound will remain as it currently is. This shift will move traffic travelling in both directions to the outermost lanes of the Parkway, while the inside lanes will be closed in order to allow teams to continue work on the median. During this shift, the turn lanes at each intersection along Restaurant Row will be relocated to their final positions. Traffic lights at each intersection will also be shifted to their final locations, as construction along Restaurant Row approaches the scheduled completion date for later this fall. This shift will remain in place for several weeks, until work on the medians is complete. Drivers are reminded to slow down and to exercise caution in active construction zones.
