The Mingo County Health Department has confirmed two more cases of COVID-19 in the county.
According to statements issued by the health department, the county’s tenth case was confirmed Thursday in an 57-year-old man who was symptomatic and is isolating at home. On Friday, the health department confirmed the county’s eleventh case in a 54-year-old asymptomatic man who is also isolating at home.
More than 1,200 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Mingo County. Of those,10 people have recovered from the disease and two have died. These latest cases are the only two remaining active confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mingo County, the health department says.
