PIKEVILLE, Ky. –  Less than 24 hours after being sworn in, Pike County Judge Executive Ray Jones and three new county commissioners held their first Fiscal Court Meeting.  Much of the meeting, which began at 7am Monday morning, was establishing Judge Jones’ staff and other key roles in the Fiscal Court.  Judge Jones addressed those in attendance and let them know many tough decisions have to be made, with the first of those being the elimination of the majority of part time positions in Pike County government, effective today.   Another special called Pike County Fiscal Court meeting will be held Tuesday evening at 5:30.
