Numerous Arrests By Floyd County Sheriff Deputies

Floyd County, KY — Floyd County Sheriff Deputies arrested 5 people in three separate instances in less than 12 hours in the same general location. According to a press release, deputies stopped a vehicle in the Garrett area for traffic violations. During the stop, Deputies along with K9 Drago found multiple illegal drugs including crystal meth, paraphernalia, scales and a handgun. They arrested the driver, 30-year-old Nathaniel Campbell of Knott County and charged him with multiple drug trafficking possession and traffic violations. Just minutes later, deputies stopped another vehicle and found more illegal drugs including crystal meth. That driver, 38-year-old Phillip Ray of Printer was arrested and charged with possession of meth and traffic violations. Less than 12 hours later in the Garrett Park area, Deputies observed two vehicles suspected to be involved in a drug deal. 3 more individuals were arrested after deputies found more drugs including crystal meth. 40-year-old Justin Slone of Garrett was charged with trafficking and possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and promoting contraband. 38-year-old Byron Ristner of Printer was charged with non-support and 26-year-old Misty Ratliff was arrested on an outstanding warrant. All were lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
