Logan County, WV — Logan County, West Virginia Sheriff Deputies have conducted a warrant roundup, mostly for people charged with a crime who failed to appear in court, netted 16 arrests. About 50 people were being sought by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were assisted by Logan County Home Confinement, Logan Police Department and West Virginia Natural Resources Police. A press release from the sheriff’s office said they were attempting to find people throughout Logan County that were being sought on a warrant issued through Logan County Magistrate or Logan County Circuit Court. The individuals were charged with failure to appear on misdemeanor and felony crimes. One of the individuals arrested, Donald Jacob Burnsworth of Omar, was wanted out of Pennsylvania for failure to appear for retail theft and conspiracy. Anyone who has information concerning the location of a person suspected to have a warrant is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 304-792-8590 or the sheriff’s office tip line at 304-792-8593.
