A two vehicle crash in Lawrence County sent a Louisa City Police Sergeant to the hospital for his injuries.

It happened shortly after seven Wednesday night on Madison Street in Louisa.

Sergeant Ed Cordle was flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital for a possible head injury. Thankfully, we are told Sergeant Cordle is expected to make a full recovery. The road was closed while crews worked the collision.

No word on what caused the crash, but it is being investigated by Kentucky State Police.
