Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal car versus motorcycle crash in Floyd County.

It happened before 9pm Wednesday evening on Abbott Creek Road near the entrance to Waddle Lane.

The driver of the motorcycle was sent to the hospital for serious injuries where he later died.

KSP identified the driver as 25 year old Aaron Adkins of Prestonsburg.

The accident remains under investigation.
