Letcher County, KY — If you travel the Whitesburg Bypass (KY 15), be aware that paving work will begin Wednesday, May 8th and is expected to take about three weeks. According to Kentucky Highway District 12 Information Officer Sara George, the speed limit will be reduced in the work zone and violators will be subject to double fines. The contractor will work from about 7:30 am until 6 pm weekdays.
