BELFRY, Ky. — One person is dead following a collision in Pike County.

Kentucky State Police troopers are investigating after a vehicle collided with a pedestrian on U.S. 119 in Belfry. It happened around 10 o’clock in front of the ball field at Black Gem Park near the Honda Shop.

Few details have been released at this time.

It was determined Robin Gail Porter – the pedestrian – died at the scene.

Traffic was impacted for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.

The collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police. The Belfry Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
