Pike County Man Charged With Crimes Against Children

South Williamson, KY — A Pike County man has been arrested and charged with Possessing and Distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 41-year-old Eugene White of South Williamson Thursday. White was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation. Authorities began the investigation after discovering the suspect uploading images of child sexual exploitation online. A search warrant was executed at a business, South Side Storage, in South Williamson and equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized. White is currently charged with twenty-six counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance and ten counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. Both charges are Class-D felonies punishable by one to five year in prison. White was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
