The Pike County Courthouse is reopening to the public.
According to an executive order issued by Thursday by Pike County Judge Executive Ray Jones, restrictions previously put into place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic restricting access to the courthouse will be lifted beginning Monday, June 8. The courthouse will reopen with a designated entrance, and offices located inside the building must abide by guidance issued under Governor Andy Beshear’s “Healthy At Work” reopening initiative.
Social distancing must also be practiced by customers entering the courthouse, and anyone with a temperature greater than 100 degrees will not be permitted to enter the building. The courthouse has been closed to public foot traffic since March 17.
