PIKEVILLE, Ky. — While jail is often the last stop for criminals, crime doesn’t necessarily stop at the jailhouse door. During a fiscal court meeting this morning, the Pike County Detention Center got the go-ahead to invest in a high-tech method of keeping drugs and other prohibited items out of the facility.
